Originally from Portsmouth, Ray is now based in Newcastle Under Lyme and is a Grammy nominated trumpeter. Performing all over the world and most notably as a soloist on Chris Tomlins US number one album ‘Burning Lights’.

Ray has played for well-known US and UK artists such as Dr John, Mica Paris, Robbie Williams, Beverly Knight, Scott Matthews, Delirious frontman Martin Smith and in BBC1’s ‘Landgirls’ and has also appeared on Channel 4’s prime time ‘The Morgana Show’ as well as ‘Very Important People’.

For 7 years Ray was the musical director for Chameleon Cocktail and Restaurant in Birmingham playing alongside a DJ or with the live band.

Ray has played in Nuvo in Birmingham, Bowery Club Nottingham, San Carlo, Neighbourhood Restaurants in Manchester and Liverpool, and many more venues around the UK.
